Brady McDougall (b. 1997, USA) is an interdisciplinary artist working to understand the historical trends that have led humankind to believe that culture separates them from the natural world. His work focuses on contemporary Western existence, hegemonic cultural values, the systems that perpetuate these values, and the spaces that eschew them in search of new models for coexistence. McDougall works with remixed media, photography, poetry, and found objects to create videos and immersive installations.
He received a BA in Film Studies and a BA in Digital Storytelling from the University of Missouri in May 2019. He also received a MFA in Art Video from Syracuse University in May 2024. McDougall currently works as an Adjunct Instructor in the Film and Media Arts department at Syracuse University.
