flashback is an experimental documentary. It is a collection of images I've created, accompanied by poems I've written. These different components work together to create a feeling of nostalgic reflection. The work is heavily influenced by my own past experiences and memories. It's about the small moments that make me who I am. It hopes to activate sense memory within the viewer by triggering memories of their own past lived experiences.
